Ten years ago this week, Baby boy by Big Brovaz entered the UK singles chart at its highest position of number 4. After two weeks at its peak position, the song started to slide down the chart but stayed in the top 10 for another three weeks. A further five weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.

Baby boy was released on the Epic record label and was the last of four UK top 10 hits for Big Brovaz. It was taken from the platinum-selling album Nu-flow, which peaked at number 6 in the UK albums chart.
