This week in 1983, (Keep feeling) fascination by the Human League reached its highest position of number 2 in the UK singles chart. It had entered the top 40 three weeks previously at number 16 and broke into the top 10 a week later. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 6 for a final week in the top 10 and then spent the last two weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

(Keep feeling) fascination was released on the Virgin record label and was the sixth of eight UK top 10 hits for the Human League. It was taken from the EP Fascination!, which also featured the band’s previous single Mirror man. The single was certified silver.
