Ten years ago this week, Sundown by S Club 8 entered the UK singles chart at its highest position of number 4. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 8 for a final week in the top 10. A further three weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.

Sundown was released on the Polydor record label and was the last of six UK top 10 hits for S Club 8. It was taken from an album of the same name that reached number 13 in the UK albums chart.
