New Generation – Suede

This week in 1995, New generation by Suede entered the UK singles chart at number 21. This was the highest position the song achieved as it fell to number 24 the following week and then left the chart.

New generation was released on the Nude record label and was the seventh of nineteen UK top 40 hits for Suede. It was taken from the gold-selling album Dog man star, which peaked at number 3 in the UK albums chart.
