This week in 1973, All because of you by Geordie entered the UK top 10 at its highest position of number 6, having entered the top 40 five weeks previously at number 38. After one week at its peak position, the song dropped to number 7 for a final week in the top 10. A further four weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.
All because of you was released on the EMI record label and was the only top 10 hit for Geordie in the UK. It was taken from the album Hope you like it, which did not enter the UK album chart.
