Ten years ago this week, Nasty girl by Inaya Day entered the UK singles chart at number 9. This was the highest position the song achieved as it slipped out of the top 10 a week later and spent the final four weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

Nasty girl was released on the All Around The World record label and was the only top 10 hit for Inaya Day in the UK. The original version of the song was recorded by Vanity 6 in 1982 but the single did not enter the UK chart.
