Run Away – (MC Sar &) The Real McCoy

(MC Sar &) the Real McCoy took this track into the UK top 10 for three weeks in 1995.

Twenty years ago this week, Run away by (MC Sar &) the Real McCoy entered the UK top 10 at its highest position of number 6, having entered the top 40 the previous week at number 11. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 7 for a final two weeks in the top 10. It then spent the last four weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

Run away was released on the Logic record label and was the second of two top 10 hits for (MC Sar &) the Real McCoy in the UK. It was included on the album Another night, which peaked at number 6 in the UK albums chart later in 1995. The single was certified silver.
