Another Night – (MC Sar &) The Real McCoy

Twenty years ago this week, Another night by (MC Sar &) the Real McCoy reached its highest position of number 2 in the UK singles chart. It had entered the top 40 two weeks previously at number 17 and broke into the top 10 a week later. After one week at its peak position, the song started to slide down the chart but stayed in the top 10 for another three weeks. A further five weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.

Another night was released on the Logic record label and was the first of two top 10 hits for (MC Sar &) the Real McCoy in the UK. It was included on an album of the same name that peaked at number 6 in the UK album chart in 1995. The single was certified silver.
