No More (I Can’t Stand It) – Maxx

Twenty years ago this week, No more (I can’t stand it) by Maxx reached its highest position of number 8 in the UK singles chart, having entered the top 40 the previous week at number 10. After one week at its peak position, the song slipped out of the top 10 and spent the final four weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

No more (I can’t stand it) was released on the Pulse 8 record label and was the second of two top 10 hits for Maxx in the UK. It was taken from the album To the maxximum, which failed to enter the UK album top 40, peaking at number 66.
