Life – Haddaway

Haddaway took this track into the UK top 10 for five weeks in 1993.

Twenty years ago this week, Life by Haddaway was at its highest position of number 6 in the UK singles chart for the first of two weeks, having entered the top 40 two weeks previously at number 8. After falling from its peak position, the song spent one more week in the top 10, at number 9, and then dropped into the lower top 40 for the final two weeks of its chart life.

Life was released on the Logic record label and was the second of four top 10 hits for Haddaway in the UK. It was taken from Haddaway – the album, which peaked at number 9 in the UK albums chart and was certified gold.
