Loneliness by Tomcraft replaced You said no by Busted at the top of the UK singles chart this week in 2003 in its first week in the chart. The song spent one week at number 1 and then made way for Ignition by R Kelly.

After falling from the top spot, the record spent another three weeks in the top 10. It then dropped into the lower top 40 for the final five weeks of its chart life.

Loneliness was released on the Data record label and was the only number 1 hit for Tomcraft in the UK. The song used a sample from Share the love by Andrea Martin.
