Twenty years ago this week, Anyone can play guitar by Radiohead entered the UK singles chart at number 32. This was the highest position the song achieved as it dropped out of the top 40 a week later.
Anyone can play guitar was released on the Parlophone record label and was the first UK top 40 hit for Radiohead. It was taken from the platinum-selling album Pablo honey, which peaked at number 22 in the UK albums chart.
