This week in 2003, Stole by Kelly Rowland entered the UK singles chart at its highest position of number 2. After one week at its peak position, the song started to slide down the chart but remained in the top 10 for another four weeks. A further three weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.
Stole was released on the Columbia record label and was the second top 10 hit for Kelly Rowland in the UK. It was taken from the platinum-selling album Simply deep, which spent one week at the top of the UK albums chart.
