Sixty years ago this week, Dreams can tell a lie by Nat ‘King’ Cole entered the UK top 10 at its peak position of number 10, having entered the top 20 four weeks previously at number 18. After just one week in the top 10, the record slipped into the lower top 20 for the final four weeks of its chart life.
Dreams can tell a lie was released on the Capitol record label. It was the tenth of fifteen top 10 hits for Nat ‘King’ Cole in the UK.
