Sixty years ago this week, (Love is) the tender trap by Frank Sinatra reached its highest position of number 2 in the UK singles chart, having entered the top 20 three weeks previously at number 9. After one week at its peak position, the song started to slide down the chart but stayed in the top 10 for another four weeks. It then fell to number 14 for a final week in the chart.
(Love is) the tender trap was released on the Capitol record label and was the fourth of twelve top 10 hits for Frank Sinatra in the UK. It was taken from the film The tender trap.
