Perfect – Lightning Seeds

Twenty years ago this week, Perfect by the Lightning Seeds reached its highest position of number 18 in the UK singles chart, having entered the top 40 the previous week at number 26. After one week at its peak position, the song started to slide down the chart but remained in the top 40 for another two weeks.

Perfect was released on the Epic record label and was the sixth UK top 40 hit for the Lightning Seeds. It was taken from the platinum-selling album Jollification, which peaked at number 12 in the UK albums chart.
