Twenty years ago this week, C’mon Billy by PJ Harvey entered the UK singles chart at number 29. This was the highest position the song achieved as it dropped out of the top 40 a week later.
C’mon Billy was released on the Island record label and was the third UK top 40 hit for PJ Harvey. It was taken from the gold-selling album To bring you my love, which peaked at number 12 in the UK albums chart.
