Ten years ago this week, L.S.F. by Kasabian entered the UK singles chart at number 10. This was the highest position the song achieved as it dropped out of the top 10 a week later and spent the last two weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

L.S.F. was released on the RCA record label and was the first UK top 10 hit for Kasabian. It was taken from the band’s eponymous triple-platinum-selling debut album, which peaked at number 4 in the UK album chart.
