Twenty years ago this week, Let’s get ready to rhumble by PJ & Duncan was at its highest position of number 9 in the UK singles chart for the first of two weeks, having entered the top 40 two weeks previously at number 18. After two weeks in the top 10, the song spent the final five weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

Let’s get ready to rhumble was released on the XSrhythm record label and was the first UK top 10 hit for PJ & Duncan. It was included on the platinum-selling album Psyche, which peaked at number 5 in the UK album chart later in 1994.

In 2013, the single was re-issued and peaked number 1 in the UK chart for one week. The single was certified silver.
