This week in 2004, That’s all right by Elvis Presley entered the UK singles chart at number 3. This was the highest position the song achieved as it fell to number 19 a week later for a final week in the top 40.

That’s all right was released on the RCA record label and was the sixtieth top 10 hit for Elvis Presley in the UK. It was recorded in 1954 and was the first single released by Elvis, although not in the UK. The original version of the song was written and recorded by Arthur Crudup in 1946.
