This week in 2004, Dip it low by Christina Milian entered the UK singles chart at its highest position of number 2. After one week at its peak position, the song started to slide down the chart but stayed in the top 10 for another three weeks. It then spent the last five weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.
Dip it low was released on the Def Jam record label and was the fourth of six top 10 hits for Christina Milian in the UK. It was taken from the silver-selling album It’s about time, which peaked at number 21 in the UK album chart.
