Owner Of A Lonely Heart – Yes

Thirty years ago this week, Owner of a lonely heart by Yes reached its highest position of number 28 in the UK singles chart, having entered the top 40 two weeks previously at number 37. After one week at its peak position, the song started to slide down the chart but remained in the top 40 for another two weeks.

Owner of a lonely heart was released on the Atco record label and was the fourth UK top 40 hit for Yes. It was taken from the gold-selling album 90125, which peaked at number 16 in the UK album chart. The single was a US number 1.

The song returned to the top 40 in 2005 when Max Graham released a remix. The remix peaked at number 9.
