The Love Cats – Cure

The Cure took this track into the UK top 10 for three weeks in 1983.

Thirty years ago this week, The love cats by the Cure reached its highest position of number 7 in the UK singles chart in its fourth week in the top 40 and second in the top 10. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 8 for a final week in the top 10. A further three weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.

The love cats was released on the Fiction record label. It was the first of four UK top 10 hits for the Cure.
