Thirty years ago this week, Take that situation by Nick Heyward reached its highest position of number 11 in the UK singles chart, having entered the top 40 three weeks previously at number 40. After one week at its peak position, the song spent two more weeks in the top 40 and then left the chart.
Take that situation was released on the Arista record label and was the second of six UK top 40 hits for Nick Heyward. It was taken from the gold-selling album North of a miracle, which reached number 10 in the UK albums chart later in 1983.
