This week in 1975, Play me like you play your guitar by Duane Eddy and the Rebelettes entered the UK top 10 at its highest position of number 9, having entered the top 40 three weeks previously at number 29. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 10 for a final week in the top 10 and then spent the last three weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.
Play me like you play your guitar was released on the GTO record label. It was the eighth of nine top 10 hits for Duane Eddy in the UK.
