Thirty years ago this week, Love resurrection by Alison Moyet entered the UK top 10 at its highest position of number 10, having entered the top 40 four weeks previously at number 28. After just one week in the top 10, the song dropped into the lower top 40 for the final three weeks of its chart life.
Love resurrection was released on the CBS record label and was the first of six UK top 10 hits for Alison Moyet. It was included on the quadruple-platinum-selling album Alf, which spent one week at the top of the UK album chart later in 1984.
