This week in 1974, Rock ‘n’ roll winter (loony’s tune) by Wizzard was at its highest position of number 6 in the UK singles chart for the first of two weeks. It had entered the top 40 two weeks previously at number 6 and broke into the top 10 a week later. After falling from its peak position, the song spent the final three weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.
Rock ‘n’ roll winter (loony’s tune) was released on the Warner Brothers record label. It was the fifth of six UK top 10 hits for Wizzard.
