Thirty years ago this week, Wonderland by Big Country entered the UK top 10 at its highest position of number 8, having entered the top 40 the previous week at number 13. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 10 for a final week in the top 10. A further three weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.
Wonderland was released on the Mercury record label. It was the third of four UK top 10 hits for Big Country.
