This week in 1993, Again by Janet Jackson entered the UK top 10 at its peak position of number 6, having entered the top 40 the previous week at number 12. After one week at its peak position, the song stayed in the top 10 for another two weeks and then spent the final five weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.
Again was released on the Virgin record label and was the sixth of seventeen top 10 hits for Janet Jackson in the UK. It was taken from the double-platinum-selling album Janet, which spent two weeks at the top of the UK album chart. Both the single and the album topped the US charts.
