Sixty years ago this week, Mother Nature and Father Time by Nat ‘King’ Cole reached its highest position of number 7 in the UK singles chart, having entered the top 12 four weeks previously at number 8. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 10 for a final week in the top 10 and then spent the last week of its chart life at number 11.
Mother Nature and Father Time was released on the Capitol record label. It was the sixth of fifteen top 10 hits for Nat ‘King’ Cole in the UK.
