Forty years ago this week, A walkin’ miracle by Limmie and the Family Cookin’ reached its highest position of number 6 in the UK singles chart in its fifth week in the top 40 and second in the top 10. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 8 for a final week in the top 10 and then dropped in to the lower top 40 for the last three weeks of its chart life.
A walkin’ miracle was released on the Avco record label. It was the second of two top 10 hits for Limmie and the Family Cookin’ in the UK.
